May Is Almost Here and So Is Free AERMOD Training.
NaviKnow is presenting the third of four FREE Live virtual workshops on how to appropriately select representative sources types in AERMOD, the USEPA preferred regulatory dispersion model. The AERMOD Source Types virtual workshops will guide you through a decision framework to properly characterize sources given the limited source type provided in the model program. Part 3: AERMOD Area Sources Explained will be presented LIVE April 29, 2020 at noon CDT.
Not too long ago, when you wanted to use an AREA source in a dispersion model, you were limited to a rectangular-shaped area. Since not everything can be represented as a rectangle, or even multiple rectangles, it became a bit clumsy to appropriately characterize a source that had an irregular shape, was round, or was narrow and long. In the early 2000’s, more choices became available; AREAPOLY and AREACIRC. More recently, the LINE source was added.
In this FREE Live webinar, we will describe the differences of the various AREA source types, issues to be aware of when using them, and appropriate ways to apply them to your next AERMOD project.
Space is limited, so act now. You do not want to miss out on this FREE, LIVE, and value-packed step-by-step webinar workshop brought to you by NaviKnow.
